~~~~~~~~~~SUPERHUMAN~~~~~~~~~~
"I'm feeling all SuperHuman..." like Chris brown and Miss Keri.
Juggling is a practice that many of us tackle daily, and I'm not talking about clowns. From work, to classes, meetings, little league games, recitals, school concerts, to being personal therapists, chauffeurs, maids, chefs, marriage conselours, lovers, friends, protectors, entertainers, etc. The list could go on endlessly, but I'm sure you get the picture. Often we feel like we are the rope in a game of tug of war, being pulled to the left then the right then the left again. How can we be there for everyone else when we are barely held together with "duct tape and popsicle sticks"(as professor Thompson would say). One strong pull and we all fall down!
How do you divide yourself among many responsibilities, while still saving room for yourself? What are some helpful tips in addressing everyone's needs?
If you're SuperHuman and you know it clap your hands!
~Sincerely, Me
  1. Why have you named your blog article after me?
    Balance is key. But don't ask me anything about it, I'm just repeating what others have said.
    I don't participate in many activities at all. First and foremost, I'm a student. Education has always been a major part of my life. I can't really call myself a 'daughter', because I do not subscribe to 'daughterly roles'. Can you imagine me making tea every morning and serving it to my parents? Pfft...
    Also, I'm not anyone's significant other, but I am an active seeker of this next best thing: I am a friend. At least, I think I am, or I try to be anyway. Hmmm...
    Church - Not for me
    Other Social events - Apart from school, not interested
    Work - Blissfully unemployed
    So, how do I divide myself amongst several different responsibilities? Simple. I don't. I have the luxury of only focusing on specific things. So, why even post a reply to the question?
    Like I said, you named the post after me :)
    P.S. This was the perfect opportunity for me to go off on a tangent about how wonderful I am, but I resisted the temptation. Consider yourself lucky.
  2. i wish i were superhuman .. but since im only human, i find little free time for my self at the moment but my tip is make sure you always make time for yourself. Your responsibilities will always be there, make some time for your self ... its better to be happy while dealing with your responsibilities.
IN THE SPOTLITE: LUKE JAMES
LUKE JAMES    Well, well, well I must say Luke James "I Want You" in my collection of great music. This man can sang, if you don't know you better ask somebody.   Representing New Orleans, this new found success has been a long time coming for Luke.  After a trio attempt didn't pan out, he landed the opportunity to sing backup for Tyrese, which led to a record deal for the duo 'Luke and Q'. But once again, that path was cut short. Yet, that didn't discourage him. He went on to assist in writing songs for artists such as Justin Beiber, Brittany Spears, Keri Hilson, and  Brandy.  Recently, he also appeared in Beyonce's video for "Run The World (Girls)". Now, the doors have opened again for him and this time he is going at it solo, which ultimately might be just what he needed. Luke James exudes sincerity, not only in his music but in his personality as well.  He doesn't want to just simply make songs that s...
If I stand at the toilet to piss, Does that make me a man? If I sit, does it make me less than? If I dye my hair blonde, color my eyes blue, and rob my skin of its natural brown pigmentation Will that make me Caucasian? If I don't, am I then African? If I yell "Hallelujah!" while giving up half of my check, stomach still queasy from the club the night before, Will 'He' save me? If I, being unbaptized, die while saving another's life, Is it just 'to Hell' with me? If my skin is burned from a fire and barely hanging on  for dear life, Does that make me ugly? If not, then why doesn't anyone see me? Oh they do stare, but they don't SEE me. If my body is s...
