WHO SHOT YA?!

Bang, Bang! Chivalry is DEAD!
But when, where, why, and how?! Some people say that it was laid to rest at the same moment that the women's empowerment movement was birthed. As we women shouted that we could do anything a man can do, they decided that we can pay for our own meals too!!

Others insist that this generation of the human male species is just overly self-centered, consumed with his own desires. He's too busy brushing his shoulders off and wiping himself down, that we are left fending for ourselves!
Well maybe it's a little of both. Guess we really put our feet in our mouthes this time. Whatever the reason, I wish we could resurrect it; jump start it back into action, starting today! CLEAR!

~Sincerely, Me

  1. LOL! You are so right. I think women got tired of going through the motions and wanted men to know that we didn't need them! But that is so not true. We need each other equally! Everybody has their strengths and we should be embracing the great things they bring to our world. Making sure we eat is one of those things. :-) ~ Coach Treasure

  2. Look no further than Him, Music. He's holding a 9mm with the barrel still smoking. Does the music men and women listen to pound into them gallantry?
a : an act of marked courtesy
    b : courteous attention to a lady
c : amorous attention or pursuit

Not at all. Music isn't chivalrous toward woman and Its a very powerful thing. The Power of Influence is Worth More than Gold. This gets really deep and the rabbit hole goes really far, not gonna go there. Not saying its the only culprit but it is holding a smoking gun and Chivalry is over there bleeding to death with 9mm bullets in him...

IN THE SPOTLITE: LUKE JAMES

LUKE JAMES    Well, well, well I must say Luke James "I Want You" in my collection of great music. This man can sang, if you don't know you better ask somebody.   Representing New Orleans, this new found success has been a long time coming for Luke.  After a trio attempt didn't pan out, he landed the opportunity to sing backup for Tyrese, which led to a record deal for the duo 'Luke and Q'. But once again, that path was cut short. Yet, that didn't discourage him. He went on to assist in writing songs for artists such as Justin Beiber, Brittany Spears, Keri Hilson, and  Brandy.  Recently, he also appeared in Beyonce's video for "Run The World (Girls)". Now, the doors have opened again for him and this time he is going at it solo, which ultimately might be just what he needed. Luke James exudes sincerity, not only in his music but in his personality as well.  He doesn't want to just simply make songs that s...

Men are from Mars, Women are from Venus

Do you ever find yourself frustrated when trying to communicate with the opposite sex? At times it can seem as if we speak two different languages or as if we aren't even the same species. How are we supposed to be together if we can't even talk to and understand one another? Apparently, we are expected to at some point figure it all out, but how can we when from the time we are kids we learn to communicate differently?  Women are more focused on connections and for men all talk and little action just doesn't make sense. This ultimately leads to a lot of frustration, arguments, insecurities, and unhappiness. Has this happened to you? Is that how you landed here on this site? Or perhaps you've read books and articles explaining how the genders brains are wired differently, offering tips on how to apply the information. But if you're like me, this can still leave you unsatisfied because what if we don't want to learn to communicate differently? Or wh...
